Dr G and Rob go hard. The therapist and techs made it so comfortable. Food is amazing and staff is kind and patient.TV in rooms and full amenities 5 star for sure. My recommendation is if you have Medicade they’ll take you. Advocate for yourself and get into Dr.G’s classes

Recovery Village at Palmer Lake truly changed my life in ways I didn’t think were possible. From the moment I arrived, I was met with compassion instead of judgment. Palmer Lake Recovery was an amazing experience. The curriculum was very helpful and the staff truly cared. Everyone is very nice. I was not sure what to expect but it met all my expectations and then some. I would highly recommend.

If you’re looking to just detox or a limited program then think about either going somewhere else or pour it all in. I was fortunate enough to decide the latter. I also am a VA patient and there are things to be said for how they “VA” track you, which was very upsetting but the curriculum can’t be touched if you do EMDR, I recommend Arno. Remember that you’re the driver of your sobriety, easy to say, but if you choose to go here, accept everything you’re given and push back and don’t be afraid to listen to others. Everyone here is GREAT! The kitchen accommodated my diet (with a smile), the therapist really help you dig deep, and the culture is amazing! If you're struggling this place is a really great place!

I've been to three other inpatient rehabs before this one and two PHP and IOP programs. No other one I've been to comes close to offering what PLR does. All of the staff is phenomenal, the therapists are amazing, the grounds are beautiful, food is great, and the degree of freedom they give clients is fantastic. They helped me get to the root issues i have that caused me to keep going back to drugs and alcohol when i knew they were slowly killing me. I really can't say enough good things about them and their program

Everyone was so loving and helpful. The only thing they need to do better is case management was not helpful in my aftercare at all. The therapist Emily was amazing Tim and the guys in the kitchen are a absolute joy and made my day everyday i was there. I have been to a few rehabs and this is the first 8 have ever completed and im going to truly miss everyone there from the clients to the staff I love you all very much

Entering there was the best decision I ever made about my benzodiazepine addiction. The personnel treated me with dignity and respect, providing a secure environment for rehabilitation. The facility provides a variety of therapies and activities that helped me stay involved and focused on my recovery. I left with a fresh feeling of purpose and a solid plan for staying sober.

Completing inpatient treatment there marked a turning point in my life. The facility expertly balances structure and healing—medically supervised detox, careful group therapy, mindfulness classes, and trauma-informed and holistic practices. The team helped me confront the foundations of my addiction and provided me with recovery skills that I actually believe in.

Choosing Palmer Lake for alcohol rehabilitation was the best choice I've ever made. Professional staff and meaningful therapy made all the difference.

The staff were incredible and so endearing. The reviews of people mentioning friends passing or medical issues are some of the consequences of substance abuse and addiction which has absolutely nothing to do with the facility itself. My intake went very smooth and I felt welcome from the very second I walked in. The therapists, clinical teachers, curriculum, medical providers, and BHTs are above and beyond and make sure everyone is treated not only fair but with great hospitality. I wish more people struggling find this wonderful and safe place as I believe it has truly changed my life for the best.

So far this place is Great. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. Kitchen staff is Excellent. And Nurses are really good about getting your meds in order as long as you Advocate for yourself. The overall cleanliness could use a little work. But I would Recommend this place to Anyone. Very Structured curriculum that hits right to the Point.

I can’t thank the staff enough at Palmer Lake. I was in a really bad place when I arrived there. I was at a point in my life that I knew was going nowhere, but I still chose my addiction over my family. I knew I needed help, but I didn’t care. My addiction almost cost me my family and my marriage. The whole process here was great. I loved the group therapy, it really helped me in my road to recovery. Tammi you were my absolute favorite, with all your knowledge and your stories of your own path really hit my heart like a ton of bricks. You are the absolute best and I can never thank you enough for all the things that you shared. It meant the world to me. (Please let her know or let her read this.)
